Jeanne’s background in art started as a child working with clay. She majored in art in high school and college and taught art in the New York City public school system, on the secondary level.
Jeanne’s creative interests spanned oils, watercolors, acrylics, charcoal, ink, pastel, graphite, cement, wood, Plexiglas, ceramics, photography and digital media. A passionate artist, Jeanne had an unusual facility for implementing skills of all kinds: She could make whatever she wanted and never stinted on the time and effort required. She applied the same energy to life in general as she did to her artistic pursuits.
Jeanne was the wife of Stanley Brodsky and mother to Amy Breyer and Suzanne Brodsky. She passed away on Monday, March 30, 2015. She will be missed by all and remembered always for her kindness and her creative passion.
